ISRO Recruitment 2014 – Apply for Assistant Posts.Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has issued a recruitment notification for the recruitment of Assistant posts. Online applications are invited for filing up 16 Scientific Assistant-A, Programme Assistant, Research Asst and other vacancies.  Eligible and interested candidates may apply through online mode before 5th May 2014.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: Candidates age should be 35 years as on 05-05-2014. Age relaxation is applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess the qualification of Ph.D, B.Sc in Multimedia. Master Degree, Diploma from recognized university.

Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/- while SC/ ST/ Ex-serviceman category candidates are exempted from paying application fee.
Application fee should be paid through Challan form deposited into State bank of India. Challan form will be retained by the State Bank (Bank copy) and remaining two Challan parts, candidate has to send one part of the Challan form (ISRO copy) and remaining one copy of Challan form shall be retained by the candidate for future use.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in personal interview.

Check Aadhar Card Status Online 2014 uid.gov.in.Since the start of the scheme, Aadhar Card implementation has faced many hurdles. Many states in India has made Aadhar Card necessary while admission in various Govt institutions , marriage registrations, LPG registrations and govt ration. Now supreme court ( SC ) sent notice to all those states who have made having Aadhar Card vital to take the benefit of Government schemes. A bench of Justice B.S Chauhan and Justice S.A Bobde said that while issuing the judicial system on the basis of UID, state governments should consider the approach.

The bench want to know the nature of the Aadhar card scheme and what government facilities have been added to the base card. These questions are for the state govt where the scheme is currently applicable. Supreme Court stated it while judging a petition challenging the constitutionality of the UID. The petition stated that it is a violation of individual rights of citizens. Citizens can check the status of Aadhar Card on official UIDAI Govt.

Puttaswami, retired judge of the High Court is also among the petitioners. UID Card Status is being processed online these days. Petitioners want the Planning Commission and the Unique Identification Authority of India to prevent the Aadhar Card issuance under the executive order January 28, 2009. On the behalf of a petitioner, senior lawyer Shyaam Dewan stated that gathering the personal information about anyone is the violation of Right to Privacy because there there remains the apprehension of information leakage and misuse of it. He said that person-related personal information of citizens is being gathered , which can be a serious threat to the privacy of citizens.

Aadhar Card Status-


The court stated that it could not be seen only from the aspect of privacy, the right to privacy in the country far more important than food and water. The court said that the country’s harsh truth is that for most of the people the food and water is more important than right to privacy. Those who are struggling for flour – rice, will they struggle to talk about privacy? The Court said, ‘What are you talking about consent? Do you know 69% of Indian girls get married before the age of 18 years and 30% children are forced to working as child labor’.

Petitioner’s lawyer, Shyaam Dewan stated that in Kerala, personal information of children is being gathered by forcing them because for admission into their schools having UID is essential. On this, court said ” For such a kids, Food is more important then UID / Base Card. They go to school just to get mid-day meal. Education level is very low in such schools. Instead of teaching, teachers remains busy in preparing the mid-day meal”. Previous court refused to change their decision under which Aadhar Card can’t be necessary to take the benefit of a Govt. To check the Status of Aadhar Card, just visit this link : https://portal.uidai.gov.in/uidwebportal/enrolmentStatusShow.do  and enter Enrollment No. and Date time. Then you have to enter 6 Digits Captcha Image Text in the given field. Then click the ” Submit ” link button and you will be able to check your UID status online.

Alternatively you can use the following form for your inquiry or to check the Aadhar Card Status Online. You can also get inquiry phone numbers of administration from official website of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). Puttaswami, retired judge of the High Court is also among the petitioners. UID Card Status is being processed online these days. Petitioners want the Planning Commission and the Unique Identification Authority of India to prevent the Aadhar Card issuance under the executive order January 28, 2009. On the behalf of a petitioner, senior lawyer Shyaam Dewan stated that gathering the personal information about anyone is the violation of Right to Privacy because there there remains the apprehension of information leakage and misuse of it. He said that person-related personal information of citizens is being gathered , which can be a serious threat to the privacy of citizens.

Aadhar Card Status-


The court stated that it could not be seen only from the aspect of privacy, the right to privacy in the country far more important than food and water. The court said that the country’s harsh truth is that for most of the people the food and water is more important than right to privacy. Those who are struggling for flour – rice, will they struggle to talk about privacy? The Court said, ‘What are you talking about consent? Do you know 69% of Indian girls get married before the age of 18 years and 30% children are forced to working as child labor’.

Petitioner’s lawyer, Shyaam Dewan stated that in Kerala, personal information of children is being gathered by forcing them because for admission into their schools having UID is essential. On this, court said ” For such a kids, Food is more important then UID / Base Card. They go to school just to get mid-day meal. Education level is very low in such schools. Instead of teaching, teachers remains busy in preparing the mid-day meal”. Previous court refused to change their decision under which Aadhar Card can’t be necessary to take the benefit of a Govt. What to study and how to study for Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant 2014, is one of the most frequently asked question by all those candidates who are going to appear for India Post examination 2014. As we all know, the India Post examination will consist of a written examination and Computer / Typing Test. Fortunately, India Post provides syllabus for Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant (PA/ SA) Examination.

India Post Syllabus:

Candidates must cover the topics we have mentioned below in order to preparing for India Post Postal and Sorting Assistant exam 2014. We have also discussed about India Post exam pattern. The written examination for will be held of the following subjects for the post of Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant posts followed by Computer based Typing test respectively. The subject/ Paper we have listed below, there will be asked most number of questions in India Post examination.

Paper I:Paper 1 is compulsory for each and every candidates who have applied for India Post Office Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant Exam. Check out the detailed syllabus below.

General Awareness/ Knowledge: Candidates are required to focus on Current Affairs (last 6 months updates on appointments, deaths, awards, summits etc), History, Indian Polity and General Science. Questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research etc. Candidates can help any monthly magazine for cover current affairs and other General Knowledge questions.

General Intelligence/ Reasoning: There will basis reasoning in the question paper that includes questions on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgement, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series etc. The paper will be also consisting of symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions. We strongly recommended candidates to solve previous year question paper for complete details about Reasoning & Mental Ability section.


Mathematics: There will be 10th (Matriculation) standard questions in this section. Candidates should cover basic maths starting with simplifications, approximations, ratios and proportions, simple and compound interests, percentages, averages, profit loss, time and distance, time and work, speed and distance, Mensuration etc. It will be great to focus on Mensuration and Simplifications as there will be more than 10 questions from these areas. Here will be no question from Data Interpretation. Refer to previous year question for more detail.


English Grammar & Comprehension: English Language paper will be consist of its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and its correct usage, etc. We strongly advised to go through the English Grammar completely. Read previous year questions for the types of questions which is asked in India Post Office examination.
Paper II:Paper 2 is a computer based skill test to test candidates’ knowledge of computer. Aspirants qualified in the written examination is only eligible to appear for this test and only qualified candidates are called for Computer / Typing Test.

Computer / Typing Test: The skill test will be of 30 minutes. This test consists of two parts. Those are Typing Test (15 minutes) and Data Entry (15 minutes). Candidates must have ability to type 30 words per minute (in English) and 25 words per minute (in Hindi).
